The Best of Manchester Fashion award went to entrepreneurs Simon Buckley and Flic Everett for their vintage boutique Rags to Bitches in the city's Northern Quarter.

It was named Best of Manchester in the Fashion category at a glittering awards ceremony at the city's Urbis building.


The company offers a bespoke dressmaking service and runs sewing, pattern-cutting and dressmaking courses.

Their reputation has spread so quickly, that when international singing star Celine Dion performed in Manchester earlier this year, she called on the Rags to Bitches team to make a series of alterations to her dancers' costumes for her spectacular stage show.
